The Prepare Vision

For 7 years, Bright City Church has existed to help people take their next step toward Christ. During that time, we have seen people experience restoration with God, with others, and with themselves, through Jesus.

The Prepare Initiative is a plan to fund the next two years of ministry, while also readying ourselves financially for a dedicated space that serves both our vision and our culture: one that fosters community, expands our outreach, and invests in the future of the church.

This is a step of faith for our church that will require sacrificial generosity, but we believe God is calling us to a season of preparation, and we are responding obediently to that call.

What is The Prepare Initiative About?

Strengthening the Foundation - $ 1,500,000

The first component of The Prepare Initiative is to fund the next two years of ministry. As we focus on the future, we want to maintain momentum in the present. We’re calling this Strengthening the Foundation, because our desire is to steward and fortify what we have already built by investing in the ministries and people that make us who we are.

Building the Future - $1,500,000

The second component of The Prepare Initiative is about getting ready for what’s next. In addition to accommodating our rapidly growing Next-Gen ministries, our mission and vision now exceed our current facility’s capacity. Building the Future prepares us financially for our own space, one that fosters community, expands our outreach, and invests in the future of the church.

100% Participation

The primary goal of The Prepare Initiative is that we all do this together. Our hope is that everyone participates. While our individual financial commitments may vary, our shared commitment to making meaningful sacrifices is what truly unites us. We invite everyone to make a commitment and join us in this giving initiative. 

Our Giving Goal

$3,000,000

We are trusting Him to move through His people to invest $3 million over these next two years to accomplish the vision He has given us.

Pray that God will work in the hearts of His people at Bright City Church and that we will listen with the intent to obey.

Give

The primary goal of this initiative is 100% Participation. That begins with you prayerfully considering your commitment to The Prepare Initiative, emphasis on prayer. Our hope is that you would seek to hear from God, and that whatever you give is a response to His leading, not ours.

Support

We also need you to stand with us in support of this initiative and lend your influence to others to do the same.

The Commitment Card is a practical tool designed to help you prayerfully consider how God is leading you to give toward The Prepare Initiative.

Through the card, you can record your total commitment for the initiative, including your current giving and any additional amount you feel called to contribute over the next season.
