What is the Serve Team?

Church is more than an event to attend–it's a community you are a part of! At Bright City, we believe everyone has something valuable to contribute. Our serve team is a dedicated group of people working together toward a specific goal that supports the church’s mission of helping others take their next step toward Christ.

Bright City Serve Teams

Worship Team*

Our worship team uses their gifts and passion to create a space where we experience the presence of God together.

Guest Services

Our guest services team exists to create a warm and welcoming experience for every person who comes through our doors.

Kid City*

These are the amazing folks who make our kid's environments safe, fun, and formative through worship, lessons, and lots of exciting activities.

Prayer Team*

The prayer team create a safe, welcoming space for people to experience the power of prayer at the end of each service.

Setup Team

The setup team transforms the AMC into a welcoming church space each Sunday.

Teardown Team

Our teardown team wraps up each service with heart and hustle, making the magic disappear (until next Sunday!).

Production Team

From sound and lights to cameras and cables, our production team helps bring Sundays to life from behind the scenes!

Liturgical Team*

The liturgical team brings the words of God to the people of God each week by reading scripture during our services.

Small Group Leader*

Our small group leaders facilitate spaces where people can connect with God and one another.

Outreach

Through service projects, drives, and community partnerships, the outreach team shares the love of Jesus through acts of compassion.

Special Events

Our Special events team goes above and beyond to make special occasions amazing through good food and welcoming spaces.

Student Ministry*

The student ministry team is a dedicated group of leaders making a powerful impact on the lives and faiths of middle and high schoolers at Bright City.

Young Adults

Bright City is a destination for young adults seeking real connection. Our Young Adults Team is the heartbeat behind the events that make that community come alive.

* Some teams focus on the spiritual formation of our community and involve deeper discipleship. We view these as roles with “spiritual authority,” and while they do not require perfection, they do require spiritual maturity.
