What is Bright City Students?

Our Bright City Student Ministry (6th-12th Grade) is a fun and safe space where students grow in their faith, build community, and discover what it means to follow Jesus. We walk alongside them each week, helping them trust, know, and follow Christ—equipping them to take ownership of their faith and impact the world as they become the men and women God is calling them to be.

Student Pastor

Justin Mitchell is passionate about helping students grow in their faith and discover who God has called them to be. As an Urban-Digital Missionary, he blends creativity and technology to reach the next generation—whether through hip-hop music, live performances, or streaming on Twitch. His heart for students is rooted in discipleship, building authentic community, and equipping young people to own their faith.

What to Expect

Community & Connection

Students start the night by hanging out, enjoying food and drinks, and building friendships in a fun and welcoming environment.

Large Group Games

We kick things off with high-energy games designed to help students have fun, break the ice, and feel at home.

Biblical Teaching

Each week, students hear a Christ-centered message that is relevant to their lives and helps them grow in their faith.

Small Group Discussions

After the message, students break into small groups to dive deeper, share about their week, and have real conversations about faith and life.

Monthly Events & Outings

Beyond Sunday nights, we plan special events and outings that give students more opportunities to connect, deepen relationships, and create meaningful faith experiences.
