Illuminate Student Ministry is where middle and high school students discover what it means to shine the light of Jesus in their everyday lives. We’re passionate about creating a space that’s fun, welcoming, and real—where students can build friendships, grow in their faith, and be encouraged to step boldly into who God has called them to be. Whether it’s through weekly gatherings, small groups, or special events, our heart is to partner with parents and leaders to see the next generation rise up with courage & boldness, joy, hope and purpose.

Student Pastor

Justin Mitchell is passionate about helping students grow in their faith and discover who God has called them to be. As an Urban-Digital Missionary, he blends creativity and technology to reach the next generation—whether through hip-hop music, live performances, or streaming on Twitch. His heart for students is rooted in discipleship, building authentic community, and equipping young people to own their faith.

What to Expect

Community & Connection

Students start the night by hanging out, enjoying food and drinks, and building friendships in a fun and welcoming environment.

Large Group Games

We kick things off with high-energy games designed to help students have fun, break the ice, and feel at home.

Biblical Teaching

Each week, students hear a Christ-centered message that is relevant to their lives and helps them grow in their faith.

Small Group Discussions

After the message, students break into small groups to dive deeper, share about their week, and have real conversations about faith and life.

Monthly Events & Outings

Beyond Sunday nights, we plan special events and outings that give students more opportunities to connect, deepen relationships, and create meaningful faith experiences.
