Worship & Prayer

Why Worship & Prayer matters

At Bright City, we believe everything begins and ends with God’s presence. Worship lifts our eyes to who He is, and prayer draws us closer to His heart. Together they shape us as a community, ground us in the gospel, and lead us to live with hope and purpose.

How We Worship and Pray

In weekly, monthly, and special gatherings, we come together to encounter God and grow as a church family.

Sunday
Mornings

Every Sunday we come together to worship God through music, prayer, and teaching from Scripture. These weekly gatherings are the heartbeat of our church family.

Pray First
Gatherings

Once a month we set aside time to gather specifically for prayer. These evenings create space to seek God’s presence and intercede for our church, our city, and beyond.

Worship & Prayer
Nights

At Bright City, we often host extended nights of worship and prayer. These are powerful times of encountering God, uniting our voices, and making space for the Spirit to move.

She is passionate about prayer and spiritual formation, believing that more than changing our circumstances, these disciplines transform us into the likeness of Christ. In her free time, Abbie loves to bake, and she has an ever-increasing love for Nora Ephron movies. To her own surprise, she enjoys watching a good football game with her husband.
