RACIAL UNITY

What is Racial Unity?

The work for racial unity means engaging in honest conversations about history, acknowledging injustice, and pursuing Biblical reconciliation through truth-telling, lament, and mutual respect. It’s a spiritual and relational journey that calls individuals and communities to become active agents of healing, justice, and restoration.

Be The Bridge: Pursuing Racial Unity and Reconciliation Together

In pursuit of our vision to see people restored to one another, Be The Bridge to Racial Unity is a monthly gathering of 10-12 people who have committed to journeying together through the hard work of seeking racial equity and unity.

During our time together each month we engage Latasha Morrison's book, Be The Bridge, and discuss how we can pursue God's vision for the church to be a multiethnic, multiracial people. The witness of our reconciliation with one another witnesses to the truth of our Gospel's claim: If God can heal the racial brokenness of our world, he can heal us of our broken relationship with Him.
